Masonic Tournament   Cambusland lodges v Ayrshire lodges

Cambuslang BC were delighted to host this tournament ran by Cambuslang RA 114 lodge, where local Cambuslang lodges and lodges from Ayrshire played in a ten team tournament.  The weather was fantastic, great food was laid on and the event was superbly organised by Barry Finlayson and Jim Torrance.  A great day was had by all and it was nice to welcome our friends from Ayrshire to the Cambuslang sunshine!  The final was played at 6pm and the winning rink was : lead John Hill. John McKillop, Billy Dunsmore & Skip John MacDonald.

Club TRIPLES Tournament

 On Saturday 22nd Aug. we hosted our annual club Triples Tournament and again we were blessed with fine weather and a great afternoons bowling. Our thanks to the match committee Past President Jim Low and Alan Johnston.
The final was played between Triple John Mitchell, Richie McInall Jnr, Skip John McInall and
                                                Triple Will McArthur, Billy Dunsmore, Skip Alan Johnston.
The final ended in a draw which resulted in an extra end being played where the the match was won by the very last bowl played by Alan Johnston to trail the jack to win the final.  The trophy was thus retained by last years winners.

Oct 10th 2015	Prizegiving cabaret night
A well attended evening at the club for our 2015 Gents prizegiving evening. Cabaret was provided by local Whitefield Past President Andy Stewart who along with his daughter provided excellent entertainment with their disco and singing. The prizegiving ceremony was conducted by Director Alan Johnston and Past President Jim Low with President Richie McInall’s partner, Sharon, presenting the prizes. Our congratulations to all participants in this years tournaments and especially to the winners and runners-up. However the star of the evening was member Craig Jamieson who this year won four single handed tournaments : Championship, Presidents, Boyd & Handicap.
