What
an memorable evening, speeches,
jokes, music and above all warmth and friendship.
A superbly organised event by our club secretary Dave
Barnett, kicked off with music from our local folk group 'PiggeryBrae' closely followed by that master musician from Dublin
John Murphy. Other acts followed and the bowlers were fully
entertained then by close of evening a rousing rendition
of Auld Lang Syne cemented the bond of fellowship. Haste

Senior
Citizens Christmas Party 21st
Dec 2003
A big
thank-you to South Lanarkshire
Council for their generous donation towards our
Senior Citizens Christmas Party
|
|
.
Club President Alex Latimer, with open arms, welcomes our
senior members to their Christmas party.
Our secretary David Barnett and the social committee organised a
splendid day for our senior bowling club members and wives, all
local Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Burnside residents. South
Lanarkshire's donation and the bowling club members
contributed towards a scrumptious meal with wine followed by the
comedy cabaret act, Clem Dane. |
